Begitu sapaan khas The Glad di setiap perjumpaan baik itu di pentas musik maupun di aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Sebuah sapaan asal kampung-kampung di pinggiran kota London yang seiring waktu populer di belahan dunia lain termasuk kampung-kampung di Jogja. The Glad secara alami mengadopsi gaya hidup Skinhead dan kelas pekerja di Inggris dengan gaya khas mereka sebagai kaum pekerja urban kota Jogja. Hal tersebut tersirat dalam beberapa single mereka seperti; Anti Nganggur, Pesta Pora, dan Yes You!. Tak heran lagu-lagu tersebut mampu menyentil kalbu penggemar musik punk. The Glad mencerminkan subkultur interlokal yang dirundung keceriaan atas ketidakpastian hidup yang dilakoni dengan optimisme gembel.

Mini album ini melanjutkan kisah-kisah tersebut. Berisikan 4 lagu penggugah sanubari para pekerja, pelajar, dan penggangguran. Dalam lagu Anthem, The Glad menyerukan, “Hidup susah adalah nama tengah kita, keringat dan air mata adalah sahabat. Semua disini, bekerja atau tidak, mari kita sepakat: Mengakhiri kemiskinan”. Keempat lagu tersebut mengajak kita untuk menjalani hidup bersama-sama demi kesejahteraan kolektif. Album diakhiri oleh sebuah lagu "Salam Harapan", ciptaan komposer Lekra Sudharnoto yang pernah dibawakan oleh Paduan Suara Dialita dan Cholil Mahmud. “Bagai gunung karang di tengah lautan, Tetap tegar didera gelombang, Lajulah laju, Perahu kita laju, Pastikan mencapai pantai cita”. Oi! 3 times a day

Becomes a colloquial greeting from The Glad on stage or off-stage everyday encounter. A greeting from suburban London that becomes popular in other parts the world including neighborhoods in Jogja. The Glad naturally adopts a British Skinhead and working class through their particular style as an urban Jogja working class. It is implied in their singles such as Anti Nganggur, Pesta Pora, dan Yes You!. It is no wonder that those songs could touch hearts of punk music enthusiasts. The Glad reflects a London skinhead subculture bullied by the joy of life uncertainties, practiced with a humorous optimism.

This mini album carries on with the existing stories. It includes 4 burning songs for workers, students, and unemployed. Through ‘Anthem’, The Glad calls out “Hard life is our middle name, sweat and tears are friends. We are here, working or not, we agree to: End poverty”. All of the songs invite us to carry on life together, pursuing a collective wealth. The last song called Salam Harapan, composed by LEKRA’s composer, Sudharnoto as it has been previously performed by Paduan Suara Dialita, and Cholil Mahmud. “Like mountains of reef in the ocean, we are unshaken by the wave. We sail on by, we sail on to the dream shore”. Join us The Glad! Oi! 3 times a day
