Setelah berkenalan dengan Gentho Kates di single sebelumnya yang dirilis pada Maret lalu, DOM 65 kembali dengan kisah kehidupan urban di kampungnya. Kali ini kita diajak untuk tak hanya mengenali sesosok pemuda rantau tapi juga turut mempraktekkan gaya hidupnya. John Smith, seorang pemuda yang lebih doyan main burung dara daripada membangun percintaan dengan seorang gadis. Ia juga anak muda milenial yang hidup bebas semaunya, tak peduli dengan hal-hal domestik di sekitarnya. Aransemen dan tata suaranya mengingatkan kita pada gaya 'hard rock' dari The Crack. Renyah tapi straight bagai batu ketapel yang melesat merobohkan mangga ranum tetangga. Selamat mencoba gaya hidup John Smith!

John Smith is the 2nd single from a series from DOM 65. Similar like the first single Getho Kates, this song is a comical story based from their neighbourhood's gangster. But this one told from the teller who try to be the main character. Musically is a mature mix of their latest album Committed and their most furious prog-rock release Greatest Pledge Article. You never listen to this kind of sounds in the world before!
